A behind the scenes look at the making of "The Taken"; a photographic series containing 5 character portraits the moment they are struck by a beam of light from an alien abduction. The development of each character revolves around the title of each image, suggesting their last thoughts before they leave this planet along with the items they are last seen with. We photographed all of the subjects in the studio and shot the backplates separately on location. Scheimpflug lent us Profoto lights, Joleko 1600, all the grip and some serious fog for the atmosphere. Trampoline provided by Hollywood Stunts.
